Maybe I’m weird (ok, I know I am). But I found this very interesting. I wonder why we don’t do something like this in our churches today. I think there is something beautiful in seeing the personal salvation experience and theology work together. Any one agree?……………………………anyone care?

I think this is totally (did I just say totally) cool!! Would anyone else be interested in doing something like this?

Pastor Josh Buice posted this article on his blog(DBG) the other day, and CBS news led of their newscast with this story that same night. I have seen little discussion on it though. Should we be concerned?

I have often struggled with this issue. Having been a member of both types of churches, I prefer the more “traditional” style, because they seem to have more reverence for God. To me, the more contemporary churches seem to feed the wants of people. We’ve all heard the stories of what some churches are willing to do in order to increase the numbers, but I can’t help but to think of what Jesus told Peter “Upon this rock I will build MY church”. So while we are racking our brains trying to come up with something cool or new to build God’s church, we are often neglecting the original architect, Jesus. Back to the basics is what I say. Anyone agree?
