The problem with these videos is that no matter how I live I can never live up to God”s standards. As a 5 year old child I did not appear radically changed from a horrid life of sin. But I was changed inside by the Holy Spirit. And though I sin every day before a Holy God, He will never leave me or forsake me. It’s not my radical living that changes me, but it’s what Jesus did on the cross and the empty tomb that gives me the security of everlasting life. Faith alone and NOT wortks is the criteria for salvation.
I think the point they are trying to make is the radical change is a fruit of what God has done. If we claim to be saved by the grace of God and continue to live like the world, well then honestly there is a problem…….
Define “radical change”. How radical of a change must occur for one to be saved? Can someone not appear to have been radically changed and still be saved?
Bill, I’m not trying to be facetious, I’m just sharing what’s on my heart.
